By the time I got up, Jim already had the boys dressed, and lunches made. Minor fracas over the last of the maple-brown-sugar instant oatmeal. (I don't think BJ's carry mega size cartons of just one flavor).
Gabriel woke up crying... Ran upstairs to see him upright with Lyle-Lovett hair. Quite an accomplishment for a half-asian kid whose other half doesn't have a lick o' Lyle-ish either.
Except for a bit of odd scheduling, this is where I would be dropping off Gabriel and then pumping iron rather than tapping keys. (Time check) Yup. I'd be meeting Liz at the gym and we'd be assessing our motivation before going anyway.
Meetings with faculty and students.
Back home to meet the bus.
Review notes. Stand in front of mirror. Psych.
Teach class for two hours. Then come home, prepare for the next evening's lecture, and crash.
This is the fall schedule. This will be interspersed with cheez-its on the porch, attack of killer toddlers, halloween costumes, brisk air, falling leaves, and moments of quiet. It's busy, but, yeah, good.
