There is an energy cost to interaction… at least for us introverted sorts.
Some promising fun and funny and smart and dare I say, cute guys on the online dating site. It sounds like so much work to do the small talk. Finding no-mana-cost folk is nontrivial. Continuing the analogy, one has to spend some mana if you’re going to play the game at all.
